Selah from Sheila:
Are you living in the now,
Trusting God no matter what?
Romans 8:28-29 (Amplified Bible) 28 We are assured and know that [[a]God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are
[fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are
called according to [His] design and purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was [b]aware of and [c]loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.
Many times as Christians we live in the future instead of the now. When you gave your life to Christ your received Him as your Lord and Savior. You invited Him to be Lord of your Life. He invited you to live your life according to His word, will, and way. He invited you on a journey with Him. To live like He lives, to love like He loves, to be like He is spirit, soul, and body. Your journey is not the destination, but the path you take along the way to get there. Are you enjoying your journey today? Are you enjoying your life in Christ each step of the way? Your destiny is Heaven; your purpose will be fulfilled here on this earth to produce the life in Christ not only in and of yourself, but those which you come in contact with. The question is are you enjoying your journey in Christ?
A person who is enjoying there journey in Christ is full of love,
faith, and fullness of grace for all they meet. They are not worried
about climbing the spiritual latter of acceptance, but they are happy
just to know God loves them. Out of one’s love for God they obey the word of God for in the Word there is life, light, and love in Christ Jesus.
Are you living in the now? Are your enjoying your life? Is there
something holding your back from stepping into the now of God? God’s desire is for you to share His love and mercy in every area of you life whatever you may encounter. Living in the past will steal your now! Are you really forgiven? Are you operating in His forgiveness?
Forgiveness is a two way street, the same as you want to be forgiven so
you are too freely to give forgiveness to all. Living in the now says I
have released the past to operate in the now for God’s glory. He will
take care of all which concerns you!! Romans 8:27 And He Who searchesthe hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will…
Will you survey your life and ask yourself these simple questions:
1. Am I enjoying my life?
2. What in my life is causing me pain?
3. What has God called me to do for His glory?
4. Are temporal things holding me back from the Will of God?
5. I am really trusting God in the area’s that are impossible with man
but possible with God?
Psalms 37:3 Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. Living in the now says I trust God! I am going to enjoy the life I have. I will continue in the things of God, and continue to see His glory displayed
through my life. For all life comes from God no matter what happens
today, everything has to go through God’s hands! Because I am a Child of the King I can be assured that all things work together for His glory and my good. In Jesus Name.
